Cirque Bijou creates theatrical shows on a grand scale. Their work has circus at its heart, while combining  theatre, dance, live music, special effects, imaginative styling.

They love to involve local people in their stories with community participation and engagement being central to our shows. For Novum Newcastle in 2024, Cirque Bijou will bring their flying piano and an ensemble of circus artists with whom they will create several different spectacle moments over the festival.

This will include an aerial show with live music and singing. Musicians fly high above the aerial artists on the piano. This year Cirque Bijou are excited to work with local choirs to support this show, bringing a unique Newcastle voices to the performances. 

Finally, they will also create a new Flying Piano Karaoke show where their  pianist and singer while flyong high above the audience  will perform and encourage everyone to join in with classic songs and ballads. You and your family can join in creating  joyous and uplifting mass singalong moments where, together we will create memories that will last a lifetime!
