Turn your #NOVUM26 adventure into a giant rabbit hunt!

Hop into the Arches Reception at Newcastle Civic Centre to meet the team behind Peter Rabbit™: Tales on the Tyne and get everything you need to get hopping. Pick up a Trail Map & Sticker Book, hare over to browse exclusive souvenirs, enter the prize draw and try your luck in the raffle for the chance to win your very own Peter Rabbit sculpture.

Then bound out across Newcastle and North Tyneside to discover 96 colourful Peter Rabbit sculptures inspired by Beatrix Potter’s much-loved character. Painted by local and national artists, alongside young people from schools and youth groups across the North East, this joyful trail transforms streets, parks and public spaces into one bun-believable family adventure.

With dozens of sculptures waiting to be discovered across Newcastle city centre, #NOVUM26 is the perfect way to keep the fun going after your #NOVUM26 visit. Hop to it, spot your favourites, collect them in the app and enjoy a day of rabbit spotting while supporting St Oswald’s Hospice.

  • Peter Rabbit™: Tales on the Tyne is a free, family-friendly art trail raising vital funds for St Oswald’s Hospice, in partnership with Wild in Art, The World of Peter Rabbit™ and Headline Partner Newcastle City Council.
  • The trail runs until Monday 14 September, so there’s plenty of time to discover all 96 sculptures.
  • The Tales on the Tyne Hub is wheelchair accessible with step-free access throughout.
  • An accessible toilet is available.
  • The Civic Centre Café will be open throughout, serving lunch, snacks and drinks.
